Located in Southern Ohio along the Ohio River is a barbershop that takes pride in tradition, pride in our city, and pride in our profession. River & Rails. Why the name? The Ohio River and The Cincinnati, Portsmouth & Virginia Railroad Company (now Norfolk Southern) are the biggest influences. Skipping rocks on the river or kicking rocks by the tracks River & Rails brings back memories of a simpler time. The moment you come in the door you're met with a friendly welcoming face. Just like your dad's barbershop we aim to keep a lot of the traditional barbering alive. However, we are constantly honing our craft and keeping up with the latest trends. Our name is figuratively on every haircut that leaves our barbershop. Our staff has been licensed for over 25 years. At River & Rails it's not just the service that matters, it's the experience. At our Barbershop, we thrive on providing each and every client who walks through the doors the best possible service we can offer. That’s why we have some basic policies in place to ensure everyone enjoys their RIVER & RAILS BARBERSHOP experience. There are just some general things to keep in mind to make sure your experience with us goes as smoothly as possible. The Master Barbers at River & Rails are fully vaccinated. If, however, you feel more comfortable wearing a mask please feel welcomed to do so. Also, if it would make you feel more comfortable during your service if we wore ours please don't hesitate to ask & we will be more than happy to oblige. We take great pride in our sanitizing and disinfecting protocols. All of our equipment is cleaned & disinfected between each client. We follow all guidelines and rules & regulations set forth by the Ohio State Cosmetology and Barber Board.
